Bayou Battles is the premiere Warhammer Fantasy IndyGT of Houston, Texas, hosted by the Houston Area War Gaming Society (HAWGS). This is our 7th year running this wonderful event. As in years past we will continue our tradition of providing a fun, relaxed environment for a weekend of dice-rolling mayhem!
Bayou Battles abides by the principles of the IndyGTs, which place emphasis on Sportsmanship and inclusion of any and all players. Thus, we have different requirements than GW sponsored tourneys:
- 2,250 point armies
- Non-Games Workshop models are allowed
- Armies must be assembled, but painting is not required to play
- There is no difference between a Minor Victory and a Massacre. A win is a win!
- Unique scenarios with objectives to add flavor and challenges to the games
Games Workshop Tournament Circuit
Bayou Battles is an official member of the Games Workshop circuit of events for 2010. The top 2 Overall finishers will qualify for the exclusive “end-of-the-season Championship GT” held by Games Workshop in Las Vegas in June, 2011. Details can be found at Games Workshop's Website here.
